HBM Measurement Technology for Calibration
Measurement technology that is used to perform calibrations must comply with particularly stringent demands regarding measurement accuracy and stability. It is not possible to imagine this field of application without transducers and amplifiers from HBM.
Torque transducers for calibration tasks are often special, non-rotating types with particularly high precision. But rotating types are often used as well, as references for the special tasks.
Torque transducers from HBM...
- ...in the torque calibration laboratory, they are either installed in a calibration system as reference transducers or serve as transfer standards to receive the reference torque from a higher-ranking laboratory
- ...for on-site calibration, they are used as reference transducers, making it possible to implement new calibration concepts that do not require the use of lever arms and weights. One particularly important field is the calibration of rotating torque transducers on the test stand.
Torque as measured quantity in HBM's calibration laboratory
Torque transducers that are to be used elsewhere as reference transducers must also undergo as high-quality a calibration as possible. HBM's DKD-accredited calibration laboratory provides this service for you. Of course, we also use HBM transfer and reference transducers in our own calibration laboratory.
